What exactly comes with a membership to Hixon Fitness?

We have several different levels of access and service, but all of our members receive 24/7 access to the facility, 1 free session with a personal trainer, and a complimentary 3D body-composition scan using our Styku scanner. Members also have the ability bring guests using our “guest pass” services. You will also receive exclusive access to the Hixon Fitness mobile training app which allows seamless integrations for your wearable fitness technologies, as well as integrations for your nutrition and fitness tracking apps.

How do I bring a guest with me?

How do I bring a guest with me?

Members are allowed to bring guests to Hixon Fitness. You can always bring your guest and complete the necessary paperwork in person during staffed hours, or complete the following instructions to purchase a guest pass online:

  • The guest(s) planning to visit the facility should complete a registration using this link so that we have a valid waiver of liability on file.

  • The member, or guest, may purchase the Guest Pass(es) from our online point of sale using this link. Our guest fees are per person.

  • The guest will not receive door access as the member bringing the guest must be in attendance for the duration of the guest(s) stay.

Once completed the guest(s) are approved for their visit to Hixon Fitness.

Do you offer any free trial periods before purchasing a membership?

We will extend a complimentary day pass when you book a tour of the facility. You can register your information with us using this link, and a team members will reach out to you within 2 business days to book your tour and free workout!

Due to the 24/7 nature of the gym all members must be 18 years of age or older in order to be held accountable to their agreements and any damages caused to the facility and/or equipment.

 
Do I have to work with a trainer to become a member?

Do I have to work with a trainer to become a member?

You do not have to work with a trainer to become a member, however our basic memberships are limited in number to ensure ample equipment and space for all members and scheduled training sessions. In the event the gym reaches it’s member capacity, customers signing up will be placed on a waitlist until a basic membership spot opens up.

You can always skip the line and join on as a “Premier Member” or by committing to any Coaching/Training bundle.

How do I get access to the door after becoming a member?

How do I get access to the door after becoming a member?

Your door access to the facility is a simple app downloaded to your mobile device.

Your access code will be given to you and setup together with a team member when you sign up in person. If you sign up online, you will be invited via email to the address you used to register with us.

In the event that you change phones or receive a new number, you can email our team at info@hixonhealth.com and a new code will be issued to you at no additional cost. No more lost fob or key card fees!

Are memberships month-to-month or a contract?

Our basic memberships are all month-to-month and non contractual. We also do not charge enrollment fees, maintenance fees, or administrative fees when signing up. Your basic memberships may be cancelled anytime by submitting a 30 day notice of cancellation directly to the facility.

Premier Memberships, Personal Training Bundles, and Meal Plans all require an initial 90 day commitment from the customer. These agreements will roll into a month-to-month agreement that the member can cancel by submitting a 30 day notice of cancellation.

How do I get started with a personal trainer?

You can get started with a Hixon Fitness coach by submitting a consultation request with a coach using this link.

Our fitness consultations are a 60 minute appointment that will include a Styku 3D body composition scan, a clinical breakdown of the scan report, discussions on your goals, health history, and a recommendation on how best to get you to your goal.

Once we have collaborated with you on a plan that fits your lifestyle, goal, and budget, we can begin to schedule with your coach!

 
What does the Hixon Fitness mobile training app do?

What does the Hixon Fitness mobile training app do?

The Hixon Fitness mobile training app offer a robust amount of features to help you dial in your fitness program with us. You can expect the following from the Hixon app…

  • Progress tracking - update your weight, body composition, and even add progress photos

  • Nutrition Tracking - track your foods using the Hixon app, or integrate your My Fitness Pal account or Fitbit account.

  • Wearable device integrations - track your daily activity by integrating your Apple watch, Fitbit, or Garmin device!

  • Custom goals and habit trackers

  • Programming/Meal Planning - If you are working with a coach, your program and meal plans will be accessible directly through the Hixon app!

  • Messaging platform - receive a direct line of communication to your coach. Send documents, texts, and anything else you’ll need to succeed.

The short answer is yes. You will need to be working with a coach, become a member, or purchase/subscribe to fitness programming to be granted access to the Hixon app.

You do not have to be a member to take advantage of our elite team of coaches.

Our team is ready to help you through our virtual training and nutrition coaching services. Virtual services include weekly/biweekly video calls with your coach, regular updates to your fitness or nutrition plan, and full access to the Hixon Fitness mobile training app.

You can also purchase Personal Training sessions “a-la-carte” and greet your trainer at the gym for your sessions.

 
How do I cancel my membership?

How do I cancel my membership?

You can cancel your membership or training agreement by submitting a 30 day notice of cancellation to our team directly at the facility. If your last scheduled billing cycle falls within the 30 day notice to cancel it will process as scheduled.

HSA or FSAfor personal training.

Does Hixon Fitness accept FSA or HSA for Personal Training?

We do accept HSA and FSA accounts! There are some steps that need to be taken together prior to using your HSA or FSA for personal training and fitness services. Our blog will provide your with all of the information and a “play-by-play” instructional on how to access these funds for your fitness goals!
